Hi my name is Alyssa Chaykowski and I am the new Head Coach here at Glacier Peaks. Gymnastics has been a huge part of my life since a child. I started competing for the Ottawa Gymnastics centre at the age of 7 and “retired” at 15. I knew then I was not yet ready to give the sport up. I began coaching shortly after, and continued coaching in Ottawa for 6 years before making the move to Invermere. Moving out here gave me the opportunity to coach another sport that I am passionate about. For the past 4 years I have been working at Panorama as a Ski and Snowboard instructor. Being here I fell in love with the mountains and the community. I am so excited to be able to get back into the gym and do what I love. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you this coming year and cannot wait to see what this year will bring!
My name is Lisa Brittany Weppler and I am the mother of two young children. I have called the valley home for 11 years. I have always had a passion for gymnastics and am thrilled to be helping young children live their dreams. The time we have in our gym is special and important. Gymnastics teaches you strength and bravery which is an amazing thing to have even out of the gym world. Our future relies on our young kids and the stronger and more brave and confident we help them become the better the world could be. Try it yourself come to our happy place at Glacier Peaks Gymnastics.
